Private Tours of Edinburgh
Classic Tours
1,5 - 2 hours
£120 + the castle entry (from £19,50)
People have lived on the Castle Rock for the past 3,000 years. Kings, warriors, prisoners - their stories are captured in the corners of the castle, you just need to know where to look for them! Which is precisely my job. Whether you’re interested in military history or Mary, Queen of Scots - we have a lot to unpack!
2 - 2,5 hours
£150
The Royal Mile and its closes still look strikingly similar to the city plan of 1500s. The Old Town is a perfect time capsule for the Scottish past. On this tour we’ll be answering the questions of what it means to be Scottish and how this country came to be through the momentous events and anecdotes that unfolded in the capital.
2 - 2,5 hours
£150
Whenever we say something is “new” in Edinburgh, it usually means 1700-1800s. The New Town started in 1760s and is older than parts of the Old Town, devastated by the Great Fire of 1824. The tour focuses on the Enlightenment and how Edinburgh transformed the world through its doctors, scientists and philosophers.
2 - 2,5 hours
£150
The National Gallery has something from almost every major art historical period from the late Middle Ages onwards, making it the perfect place to trace the evolution of styles and ideas. On this tour, we’ll focus on the Italian Renaissance, the Dutch Golden Age, and Scotland’s own artistic legacy. Then, at the Portrait Gallery, we’ll come face-to-face with all the Scottish and British monarchs starting with Mary, Queen of Scots.

About me
Studying History in Scotland and Italy made me realise that history has to be shared beyond academia. And that the discoveries published in scientific journals tend to stay there, unless someone goes out there and talks about them. This is precisely how I see my job and do my best to provide well-researched yet accessible tours for history lovers and anyone who wants to understand the world around them better.
It brings me great joy to share these stories in different languages and to connect with my guests on a deeper level. So I am currently offering tours in English, German, Ukrainian and Russian, with French and Italian tours planned by the end of 2025.
